Personal Bio

Shawn McCammon, JD, CFP®, CKA® is a Wealth Advisor and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM PROFESSIONAL who meets with clients in Boerne as well as New Braunfels. Shawn brings a unique perspective to the planning process as he is also a licensed estate planning attorney, licensed in both Texas and California. Shawn is the managing partner of McCammon & Murray, PC a law firm with offices in Texas and California focused on Estate Planning, Probate, Trust Administration and Asset Protection/Business Planning. Shawn has been helping clients with their estate planning needs for nearly two decades. Shawn is a registered Investment Advisor Representative, holding his series 65 license, as well as being a CFP® and Certified Kingdom Advisor®. Shawn enjoys helping clients take a holistic approach to legal and financial planning, rather than just focusing on a set of documents, helping clients align their faith, family and finances.

Shawn and his high school sweetheart, Kristy, have been married over 25 years and are blessed with 5 wonderful children. They are active at Currey Creek Church in Boerne and homeschool their 5 children through the Boerne Area Christian Homeschool (BACH) group. Shawn and Kristy have hosted bible studies on financial planning, and Shawn has spoken at local churches on the topics of estate planning, financial planning and stewardship. Shawn is also involved in the Boerne area Chamber of Commerce, Business Networking International (BNI), and lots of kid’s activities!
