Me holding a sedated, feral (wild) tomcat at one of our TNR clinics

By Jenna Peters

I haven’t been around the office much because 1) I am only working part time from home and 2) I’ve taken up another part time job with our local humane society! While I am still doing some work for Christian Financial Advisors®, like the podcast editing, marketing, and some client paperwork, I am excited to say that I am finally following my animal passion again. For those that don’t know, I have a B.S. in Biology with an emphasis in animal science. I have worked with everything from rescued tigers and primates to completing my college internship at the San Antonio Zoo.

For the past 6 years, I have been heavily involved in our local TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program that provides free spay and neuters for feral cats. Instead of just volunteering my time, I am now working about 24 hours/week as a paid position at HSNBA (Humane Society of the New Braunfels Area) as the TNR coordinator and doing social media/marketing outreach. I am so excited to be able to spend more time educating people about animal welfare, TNR, and so much more! So, if you haven’t heard from me much at ChristianFA, this is why. I am happy to still be helping my dad and husband out where I can with my part time work, but if you ever have an animal related question, you know who to ask!
