Biblical Viewpoints with Bob – The Giving View

Biblical Viewpoints with Bob logo for Christian financial advice.

Why do you believe that God’s word says it is more blessed to give than receive?

When we are giving, who are we most like?

In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

— Acts 20:35

Read Matthew 25:31-40 and make a list of at least ten ways we can use the resources God has blessed us with to help others and bring Glory to God.

But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.

— Deuteronomy 8:18

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

— Matthew 28:19-20

What kind of eternal impact would you like to see, during your lifetime and beyond, created with the assets God has entrusted to you?
