Shelly Hynes

Shelly Hynes is CFA’s Director of First Impressions. She will be the first smiling face you see when you come in for an “in-person” meeting with Bob or Shawn.

Shelly grew up in Slaton, TX, and graduated from Amarillo College’s Dental Hygiene program. She worked for 6 years as a general dentist in Lubbock, TX before she and her husband, Kevin, moved to New Braunfels. She retired in March 2020 after working for 33 years. She worked the last 27 years of her career at the same pediatric dental office. In addition to working at Bob’s office, Shelly is a pet sitter.

Shelly and Kevin have been married for 31 years. He is a pharmacist at HEB. They are active at Oakwood Church where they serve as small group leaders on Sunday mornings. She also helps prepare communion. They enjoy going to Cancun, Cabo San Lucas, Cozumel and Puerto Vallarta. She enjoys running, lifting weights, playing pickleball, and reading.
